Our warranty covers defects in material and workmanship for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase. This includes issues such as:

  • Manufacturing defects: If your jewellery has a defect due to our manufacturing process.
  • Material issues: Problems related to the integrity of the sterling silver used in our pieces.

Please note that our warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear: Everyday wear can result in minor scratches, tarnishing, or other signs of ageing.
  • Accidental damage: This includes damage from dropping, impact, or misuse.
  • Loss or theft: Our warranty does not cover lost or stolen items.
  • Unauthorised repairs: Any repairs or alterations made by parties not authorised by GAL will void the warranty.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

If you believe your jewellery has a defect covered by our warranty, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Reach out to our customer service team (contact@shopgal.com.au) with details of your issue.
  2. Provide Proof of Purchase: Submit a copy of your receipt or order confirmation to verify the purchase date.
  3. Return the Jewellery: If your return is accepted, we will provide details on how to proceed.
    Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Repair or Replacement

Upon receiving your claim and verifying the defect, we will offer one of the following remedies:

  • Repair: We will repair the item at no cost to you, ensuring it meets our quality standards.
  • Replacement: If repair is not feasible, we will replace the item with a new piece of equal value.

  • Return Shipping: We will cover the cost of return shipping for warranty claims.
  • Processing Time: Please allow 2-4 weeks for returns to be processed.
